As a Technical Project Manager in our AppFlow and AppOps Team at VSHN, your primary role is to guide and oversee customer-centric projects. You will be guiding requirements engineering, consulting, and building custom specific solutions with the team while onboarding customers to our standardized products.
Your key focus is on learning from these interactions to understand what we can further standardize and productize into what we call AppFlow and AppOps. AppFlow is our offering that assists software developers in bringing their code from development to production - it's all about continuous building, testing, packaging applications into containers and deployment. This allows developers to focus on writing code rather than the logistics of deployment. AppOps is about designing, provisioning and operating the best fitting hosting environment and running applications on it together with the engineers and developers of our customers. We enable DevOps and take a fair part of operations responsibility, so our customers can focus on their business to create and use great software for their business.
While your core function will be coordinating and planning technical work according to customer requirements, you will directly work with our Solution Architects, with the Product Owners of other teams, and Customer Account Managers who have the non-technical lead for customer projects. You'll contribute to decision-making processes that define what we offer, what we track as potential product features, and strategize the planning and building of features.
This means
- Serving as the main technical point of contact for the customer on the onboarding project level.
- Working closely with our Solution Architects and Sales to find out what we offer to address the customer's needs.
- Coordinating delivery with our Kubernetes (APPUiO Managed and APPUiO Cloud) and backend systems (AppCat) Teams to guarantee customer needs are met.
- Managing the successful delivery of customer projects and handling any changes effectively.
- Preparing required work for and with the teams, representing customer needs in reviews - Product Owner like duties in Scrum.
